Pizzas were great! Not happy with Service though. Hostess greeted us nicely but the server seem to be in rush and only focused on closing. My wife is pregnant and wanted to order more food but the server said kitchen is closed. A heads up is a basic service courtsey and could have made our experience better. Will not be back at this location but will try other Buddy's Pizza.

Pretty bad experience tonight. BBQ pizza had just a tad bit more than zero sauce. The whole thing was dry and the chicken was even dryer, couldn’t even finish one slice, tossed in trash. Was recommended “garlic cheese bread” which is really a hogie bun then burn on the grill then put cheese on top. Called to voice my frustration and was told sorry I didn’t have a good experience with zero offer to remedy situation. Won’t be back again, spent over $30 and I’m here hungry. Would not recommend.

Finally had my first-ever Detroit-style pizza at Buddy’s in Ann Arbor, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The crispy, caramelized cheese around the edges, the airy yet chewy crust, and the rich tomato sauce on top all came together perfectly. It’s a completely different experience from the pizzas I usually eat, and one I’ll definitely be craving again. A great first introduction to Detroit pizza.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Good Food, Service Needs Improvement Really good place to get pizza 🍕! The pizza was delicious, and both the lasagna and salad were top-notch. The only downside was the service. We may have come on an off night, but it took about 30 minutes before anyone asked for our drink order. We ordered two entrées for two adults, but one of the dishes was missed and no apology was offered until after we had already finished one of the pizzas. We were also charged twice for the salad, even though it was supposed to come with the pasta, and we had to ask three times before receiving napkins. Overall, the food was excellent and I’d definitely come back for the pizza, but the service could use some improvement.

Ingredient quality is key with pizza and Buddy's definitely delivered (no pun intended) on that: the sauce and the crust, in particular, tasted "premium" in a way that you don't get from a lot of places. (It tasted better than my photo probably suggests.) I wasn't such a fan of putting the sauce in a blob at the center, though; I prefer it spread out more evenly, but it's still delicious. Atmosphere was kind of distracting but that is understandable since it's an airport location.
